Petfolio is a pet management app that combines health record tracking, medication reminders, and a photo timeline into a single digital portfolio for each pet. Pet parents create a profile for their animal, then log vaccinations, vet visits, weight measurements, feeding schedules, and daily moments. The app generates an interactive life story timeline that can be filtered by category — health, milestones, photos, or daily care. Petfolio also includes shareable links for family members and pet sitters, a dedicated sitter mode with check-in/check-out tracking, and breeder tools for managing animals and transferring ownership records to buyers. The free plan covers one pet with core features, while paid plans start at $5.99/month.

The free plan includes one pet with all core tracking features. When you add a second pet, you upgrade to the Owner plan at $5.99 per month, which supports up to three pets and unlocks all premium features including data export, priority support, and advanced health analytics. If you have more than three pets, each additional pet costs $1 per month. According to the American Pet Products Association, the average U.S. household with pets has between 1.5 and 2.5 animals, so the Owner plan covers most families comfortably. All your existing data, photos, and health records transfer automatically when you upgrade.

The Breeder plan ($14.99/month) is designed for professional and hobby breeders who manage multiple animals. Breeders create individual profiles for each animal with photos, health records, weight tracking, vaccinations, and milestone documentation. A key feature is shareable buyer links — unique URLs that allow prospective buyers to follow an animal's progress in real-time without creating an account. When the animal goes to its new home, breeders use the ownership transfer feature to send the complete health record, photo history, and care documentation directly to the new owner. This includes vaccination dates, vet visit notes, weight charts, and every photo taken since birth. Petfolio supports all animal types including dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, rabbits, and horses.

Yes. If you downgrade from a paid plan, all your pet data remains safe and accessible. You can still view every pet profile, browse their complete photo timeline, and access all health records. The only limitation is that you can only actively manage (add new entries to) the number of pets allowed in your new plan tier. For example, downgrading from Owner to Free means you can actively manage one pet while viewing all others in read-only mode. No data is ever deleted during a downgrade — your pet's complete life story is preserved regardless of your subscription status.

Petfolio uses bank-level AES-256 encryption for all data at rest and TLS 1.3 for data in transit. Pet profiles, health records, and photos are stored on Supabase's SOC 2 Type II certified infrastructure with automatic backups and redundancy across multiple availability zones. We never sell or share your pet's data with third parties. Paid plan users can export their complete data at any time in standard formats. All authentication uses secure token-based sessions, and sensitive health records are encrypted independently from general profile data for an additional layer of protection.
